Our finest quality Orgainic meat products are used to prepare many of the recipies at the Stag Inn in the village of Rackenford.

Recorded as the oldest public house in Devon, dating back to the end of the 12th century.

This wonderful thatched pub is a great place to relax and sample the delicious organic fayre of West Yeo Farm.

We have a wide selection of stock and have vast experience.

Having built our own farm butchery Robert (the master butcher) knows good meat. "It has to be bred right and fed right!"
 
Beef - We supply excellent quality, well hung, pedigree, organic beef from the best Red Ruby Devon Cattle.
 
Lamb - Lambs are produced in the spring and are ready to go to the abattoir after about 5 - 6 months. So lamb is a seasonal product, it is generally available from July to January, phone for details.
 
Pork - Piglets grow quickly on mothers milk and are soon eating our home grown barley meal.
At about 6 months they go off to the abattoir. We hang our pork for 2 weeks  which ensures good crackling and mature flavour. Dry cured bacon, sausages and hams are produced on the farm and available to order.
 
Poultry - Our French Sasso chicken are big tasty table organic table birds raised in small flocks on a cyclical basis and are generally available.
Our Barbary Ducks are Raised in small flocks and are seasonal. 
The Geese are raised for the Christmas market and produce the finest organic seasonal feast.


Cutting Services- We also offer a cutting and packaging service for other producers. We have our own licensed cutting room  with carcase fridge and qualified butcher that will hang, cut and package meat (bag, over wrapped trays or vacuum pack) ready for sale or personal consumption.
